The focus of my work is
to assist individuals,
organizations, communities,
and our species as a whole
to create sustainable life systems so that we may all have
a viable and vibrant future.

Permaculture is the tool by which I teach, consultant, and design to facilitate this endeavor. In doing this I partner with other individuals, non-profits, NGO's (non-government organizations), and various governmental departments. While my primary focus is on land based systems, such as agriculture, water treatment and cycling, appropriate technology applications, and farm and village design, I am becoming more committed to and involved in working with what is referred to as the invisible structures. These are the social, economic and political systems that underly and determine much of what happens on the physical plane. This work includes sustainable economic development, women's empowerment, sustainable tourism, and the interface between local, indigenous populations and the global community.
